Automatic gas cylinder marking machine for high volume filling for production lines. Automatic filling and dispensing
Durable structural design and standard solutions for safe operation.
Tailored to individual technical requirements, gas types and operating conditions.
High performance automatic gas cylinder labelling machine. The machine is mainly recommended for large quantities of identical labelling work - for example, cylinder production, customisation of new gas cylinders. The machine automatically loads and dispenses gas cylinders. It is important that the machine rotates the cylinder during marking, so that even the neck of the cylinder can be marked in its entirety. This makes the machine suitable for long texts.
The operator places the gas cylinders for scoring on the cylinder tilting unit (option). The pneumatically operated tilting unit, after pressing a push button, turns the cylinders to the horizontal position, from where they roll over to the central machining station with inclined track. In front of the machining unit, the cylinders collide with a gating unit, which only allows the cylinders to enter the scoring unit one by one. Here, a pneumatic work cylinder pushes the cylinder against a preset stop, and a pneumatic lifting frame lifts the cylinder so that it is in the scoring position.
The lifting frame is fitted with free-running rollers with adjustable distance and displacement in the axial direction of the cylinder, on which the cylinder can easily turn. The cylinder on the lifting frame will be clamped to a driven roller which is rotated by a stepping motor through a toothed belt transmission. The speed of rotation can be adjusted by the scoring equipment software. The appropriate text can be entered on the screen of the control unit of the scoring equipment. After scoring, the lifting unit lowers and the gating unit on the outgoing side rises so that the cylinder can roll to the end of the track. The end of track buffer unit stops and then releases the cylinders onto the tipping unit once the other cylinders have been scored.
The operator can move the bottles from the horizontal to the near vertical position by pressing a push button (option).
In manual mode, it is possible to add additional labelling to bottles already labelled. The scorer control unit allows the stepper motor to be rotated back and forth, thus rotating the bottle to the desired position and starting the labelling process. In order for the operator to see how much to rotate the bottle or the control unit must be designed closer to the scorer,
either a camera is placed near the scorer and a 7” LCD display is used to monitor the result of the shooting (option)
The scoring operation of the different bottles requires the operator to make the specified settings and machine adjustments. This can be done by opening the service door behind the scoring unit in service mode.
The equipment operates on a compressed air supply of 6 bar and an electrical supply of 230VAC, 50Hz. The equipment will be equipped with Fischer glueing dowels
anchored to the ground, so it is important to have a suitable concrete substrate - at least 100mm thick and even.
With preset programmes, you can easily set the text you want to type, with quick changes. Once set up, steel bottles can be punched at an average working speed of 53 characters per minute. The operation is easy on the operator. The surface of the gas cylinders can be covered with up to 120-200 microns of paint after the indentation, and the indentations made with the machine will still be visible on the surface of the gas cylinder.
