Main category 500 covers four sub-categories. CO₂ filling and transfer systems (industrial): high-capacity pump-compressor systems, cryogenic CO₂ filling systems for spiked gas plants. Inert gas filling systems: IGFILL and associated equipment for the refilling of argon, nitrogen and oxygen cylinders in industrial quantities. FM200/Novec industrial filling systems: for large-scale halon-replacement fire-suppression gas manufacturers and filling stations. Specialised gas filling systems: for filling nitrous oxide (N2O), refrigerants (R32, R134a, R410a) and other specialised industrial gases.
Industrial focus vs fire safety maintenance
Categories 400-020, 400-030 and 400-035 cover fire safety maintenance (small to medium-sized pumps, mobile units). The 500 category is industrial-scale: high-capacity continuous filling, automation, integrated weighing systems, industrial gas plant environments. A CO₂ filling system with a 400-020 configuration can service approximately 30–50 fire extinguishers per day, whilst the 500-010 industrial version can perform continuous filling at a rate of 100+ kg per minute.
