The marking service ensures the official marking of gas cylinders and industrial products: the identification details required by law (manufacturer, serial number, test pressure, date of manufacture, owner, gas type) are applied to the cylinder in a durable and legible manner. Marking methods
Mechanical stamping: the traditional and most durable method — the characters are stamped into the cylinder wall, so they do not fade or wear away, even over many years. ADR and gas industry standards prescribe this as the mandatory method for permanent identification marking. Engraving: more precise, finer characters — more expensive, but more legible. Laser marking: modern technology, gentle on the surface — particularly suitable for aluminium and composite cylinders. Stickers and painted markings: for supplementary, temporary markings (owner, project code).

What needs to be subtitled
Mandatory markings under the ADR: manufacturer’s name and code, date of manufacture (year-month), serial number, test pressure (PT, bar), working pressure (PW, bar), water capacity (V, litres), weight of cylinder contents (tare), date of next scheduled inspection, certificate of conformity number. In addition, the owner and gas type must be marked (using ADR colour codes and labelling).
