Gas-carrying trailers and multi-element gas containers (MEGCs) form the backbone of gas industry logistics: the safe and cost-effective transport of large quantities of industrial gas from production sites to points of use. PWENT’s trailers are manufactured in accordance with ADR 6.7.5 (MEGC), Directive 2010/35/EU (TPED) and Directive 2014/68/EU (PED), and comply with the MSZ EN 13155:2021 standard for lifting equipment. This ensures cross-border transportability within Europe and full compliance with European safety regulations.

Types of trailers and technical specifications
The trailers are fitted with 4–12 jumbo cylinders (1,000–3,000 litres per cylinder) or 150–320-litre industrial cylinders, with an operating pressure of 200–700 bar. Type „A” is the lightest steel-framed design, where the tractor unit can also be used for other purposes — due to the lighter structure, the volume of gas transported is more favourable in relation to the number of cylinders used. Type „B” is the most secure, with a heavier, lockable steel structure — designed for countries and sites with higher safety requirements. Type „C” is an ISO container design: the container can be left with the customer, allowing the trailer to return immediately — ideal for situations where gas consumption is lower.

ISO container and modular gas system
The ISO container is a standardised cargo unit that can be used on ships, trains and lorries without the need for transhipment — this significantly reduces logistics costs and handling time. The modular gas system consists of interchangeable modules: it can be scaled to accommodate different gas types, pressures and volumes, making it ideal for remote locations and short-term projects.
