Custom machine design is PWENT's engineering service: when the standard range of machines does not meet the customer's specific needs, PWENT engineers design and build custom machines. Based on 25+ years of industry experience, the company is able to manage the entire engineering workflow - from problem assessment to the finished machine. When you need a custom machine design
Standard machines cover a wide range, but in some situations a specific solution is needed. (1) Special gas type or pressure range (e.g. extra high purity H2, ammonia). (2) Non-standard cylinder type (custom sized cylinder, non-standard thread). (3) Production capacity requirements (e.g. extra high - 1000+ cylinders/day). (4) Explosive environments (ATEX, extended zone classification). (5) Customer-specific integration with existing factory infrastructure. (6) Prototype machines for research or development projects.
The design process
(1) Needs assessment: site visit, recording of customer needs, definition of technical parameters. (2) Concept design: alternative solution sketches, cost and time estimation. (3) Detailed design: technical drawings, CAD models, standard compliance documentation. (4) Fabrication: component procurement, assembly (in PWENT workshop or at manufacturing partner) (5) Test run: in PWENT workshop with documented testing (6) On-site installation and commissioning (see 600-050 Installation services).
Manufacturing partners
PWENT works with top Italian and European manufacturers (custom machine parts), as well as with Hungarian manufacturing partners for final assembly and customisation. This ensures European quality and Hungarian service support.
