The THB5 model range has been developed for filling fire extinguishers and other containers with fire-suppressing gas (clean agent), and for the recovery or reuse of the gas. The machine handles both the liquid and gaseous phases of the pressurised mixed extinguishing gas. Depending on the model, the nitrogen-mixed extinguishing gas can be transferred to a gas cylinder of the same capacity, where the final pressure matches that of the original cylinder (25 bar or 42 bar), or to a larger gas tank. In this way, the mixed extinguishing gas can be recovered and reused without separating the nitrogen and the extinguishing gas. The machine is, of course, also suitable for filling and pressurising new cylinders or fire extinguishers.
