With composite cylinders, high heat can damage the internal structure of the cylinder, while with lightweight aluminium cylinders the cylinder temperature can potentially rise above the maximum temperature allowed. This poses a safety risk. Always choose a model with a thermostat if you are working with both composite gas cylinders and aluminium gas cylinders.[/highlight]
