This is the most efficient method, but it requires the use of specialised materials (low-temperature-resistant steel, suitable seals). Gas-phase filling: CO\u2082 is filled into cylinders in gaseous form (50\u201370 bar) \u2014 for smaller capacities. Hybrid systems: a combination of liquid storage and gas-phase filling, offering optimal logistical cost savings.\n\nSystem components\nPump-compressor unit: for pressurising the CO\u2082, to an operating pressure of 200\u2013300 bar. Distribution station capable of filling multiple cylinders simultaneously. Automated weighing system: each cylinder is filled precisely to the specified charge volume \u2014 using a PLC-controlled system. Cooling system: to dissipate the heat generated during filling. Safety valves and sensors: for monitoring pressure, temperature and gas leaks.\n\nAreas of application\nGas plant sites: filling 100+ CO\u2082 cylinders and bundles per day. Beverage industry suppliers: supplying manufacturers of carbonated soft drinks, beer and mineral water. Welding gas suppliers: component of industrial gas mixtures.
