A new category \u2014 previously, the individual steps (cleaning, painting, marking) could be ordered separately; they are now also available as an integrated solution.\n\nContents of the package\nThe standard painting package includes the following steps: (1) External cleaning using shot blasting or a wire brush \u2014 complete removal of old paint and rust. (2) Surface preparation and application of primer \u2014 the basis for a durable finish. (3) Top coat with colour codes in accordance with ADR regulations \u2014 oxygen white, acetylene chestnut brown, hydrogen red, nitrogen black, argon dark green, CO\u2082 grey. (4) Drying. (5) Re-labelling \u2014 production data, test mark, gas type marking. (6) Official report.\n\nTwo types of service\nWorkshop painting: the customer delivers their cylinders to the PWENT workshop, where the entire painting process takes place in an optimised environment. Typically more cost-effective and faster. On-site painting: carried out at the customer\u2019s premises using a mobile painting unit \u2014 there is no need to transport the cylinders. More expensive, but does not disrupt the customer\u2019s operations.\n\nPackage sizes\nPainting packages are sized for quantities of 10+, 50+, 100+ and 500+ cylinders, with volume discounts. Larger quantities result in a proportionally lower unit price. We particularly recommend this to gas plant partners who wish to refurbish their cylinder fleets.\n\nOther surface treatments\nIn addition to painting, we also provide specialised surface treatments: anti-corrosion coatings, heat-resistant coatings (for high-temperature applications) and anti-static coatings (for potentially explosive environments).
