Wet chemical: For Class F oil fires (frying fat, cooking oil) \u2014 a specially formulated agent, classified as part of the water-based fire extinguisher category.\n\nMaintenance procedure\nMaintenance of water-based fire extinguishers is as rigorous as for other types of fire extinguishers: annual inspection (external visual inspection, weighing, pressure check), and a thorough maintenance service every 5 years (cylinder opening, internal inspection, hydrostatic test, charge replacement).
