It handles both the liquid and gaseous phases of the pressurised mixed extinguishing gas. Depending on the model, the nitrogen-mixed quenching gas can be transferred to a gas cylinder of the same capacity, where the final pressure matches that of the original cylinder (24 bar or 42 bar), or to a larger gas tank. In this way, the mixed extinguishing gas can be recovered and reused without separating the nitrogen and extinguishing gas.
